MASSOB Sweeps Yoruba Hero’s Apology to Waste Bin
The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, (MASSOB) has rejected and swept the recent public apology tendered by Lt. Gen. Alani Akinrinade on his involvement in the oppressive killings of unprotected Biafran civilians during the Nigeria-Biafra genocidal war to public waste bin.
MASSOB, through its leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu in a press statement, which was made available to thirdeye247.com said; “suddenly the celebrated Yoruba hero realised his full participation in the genocidal killings of Ndigbo is telling on his face, adding to the fact that the Biafra actualization and restoration is consciously glaring, which can never be frustrated again, Akinrinade now cries woof.
“After enjoying the spoils of Biafra war and
benefitting from it in all sorts of ways, maintenance is now repentant shouting for the same true federalism General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu (of the blessed memory) agitated for, he now regrets because the cane he used on hi first wife is now being applied unto him.
“When the whipping of his first wife was going on, Akinrinade’s favorite second wife was joyful and pandered to the ego of their husband. Since nothing lasts forever ( not even love), the second wife is suddenly at the receiving end and she now realizes how evil their husband is”, MASSOB leader quoted.
Calling on Ndigbo to stop celebrating Femi Fani Kayode as an Igbo hero because he coincidentally attended Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s court session the day he was granted bail, adding to the fact that he met Nnamdi Kanu in kuje prison during his sojourn to prison for Kayode’s accused criminal case of corruption, MASSOB leader stated it categorically that their enemies must not be celebrated more than their own heroes.
Stating that in as much as their freedom fighting comrade cum brother, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu can visit anybody he wishes, MASSOB was of the view that Ndigbo must learn from their past and present history. “All of a sudden, Femi Fani Kayode is being celebrated now as Igbo hero because he utilises an ample opportunity available to him and shined.
“Is this not the same Femi Fani Kayode that poured invectives on Ndigbo last year with no singular regard or respect for Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu (Eze Igbo Gburugburu) whom he (Kayode) claimed that Ojukwu’s wife was his girlfriend?”, MASSOB asked.
Wondering why Ndigbo should forgot in a hurry that the Yoruba hero has assaulted Iyom Bianca Ojukwu, having claimed publicly that he impregnated her, the freedom fighters reminded Lt. Gen. Alain Akinrinade(Retired) that he deliberately insulted Ndigbo and spited on the person of Ikemba; “It is regrettable now that some uninformed Igbo people are singing praises on Kayode as a great champion of the Ndigbo, we hereby cautions that our people must be guided by history”, they noted.
Reminding the people of Biafra the subtlety of Oduduwa people which, according to them was seen on the January1966 coup occasioned by the unrest in the wild, wild
West as the Yorubas, it was gathered, had planned to release Obafemi Awolowo and installed him the Prime Minister; “things got out of hand and snowballed into a civil war”, MASSOB recalled.
“The Yorubas pitched tent with the rest of Nigeria and fought the people of Biafra to the bitter end. Awolowo who was one of the top coup plotters wanted to be installed as Nigeria’s leader, he even went as far as devised starvation as war strategy and £20 as poverty policy against the people of Biafra. Then, the Yoruba nation lost its voice when the going was good for them”, MASSOB noted.
“As Biafrans, we must be cautious because a Leopard never changes its spots. Recently, there was mayhem in Ife between the Yorubas and the Hausa community. After the initial sound and fury, they have resorted to a quiet diplomacy for settlement”, they concluded.
