Ohaneze Chairman Extols Obiano On Intervention Fund To Mission Hospitals


The State Chairman of Ohanze Ndigbo Chief Damian Okeke Ogene says Governor Willie Obiano’s distribution of over two hundred and fifty million naira to mission hospitals in

the state is a direct intervention that will uplift quality standard of living across the state Speaking in Awka. Chief Okeke Ogene noted that by giving the money directly to the church, the entire sum will help to upgrade and equip the various hospital to achieve the desire result .

Paul Ezeoke filed the report that Chief Okeke Ogene noted that while Governor Obiano is building physical infrastructure in various sectors, he equally appreciate the importance of building and sustaining human infrastructure to enjoy the projects and facilities.

He pointed out that like the twenty million naira community chose your project, initiative which he said has charged the infrastructural status of the communities , this particular financial support would promote quality health services and improve the state health indices.

Also speaking, a former chairman of Orumba South Local Government Council , Barrister John Onyeakpa said the intervention would reposition the hospitals and further bring quality and affordable health care to the people .

Barrister Onyeakpah noted that this would help to discourage people from seeking healthcare abroad which would enable the country check capital flight and help boost the domestic reserve .

He enjoyed the church to sustain prayers for peaceful conduct of the Governorship election as well as encourage their members to use their votes to support good governance in the state.
