Former speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly and immediate past commissioner for transport, Rt. Hon. Chinwe Nwaebili has declared her intention to vie for the Ogbaru Federal Constituency in the 2019 general elections.
Nwaebili announced this when she visited the APGA office in Atani, Ogbaru local government Area, with her supporters.
She boasted that she would defeat the current occupant of the seat, Hon Chuchu Onyema.
Princess Nwaebili, an APGA faithful who was received by a large crowd of supporters, commended them for their support.
The lawmaker reminded her supproters that her involvement in the politics of Anambra exposed many youths to different skills, making some of them employers of labour.
Princess Nwaebili regretted that Ogbaru had never benefited any meaningful development from those who had occupied the Federal House in the past, assuring the people of the Federal Constituency that the situation would change for the better if she was given the mandate.
Nwaebili described APGA as the only veritable political platform that offered the youths opportunities to be involved in decision making and called on them to further embrace APGA for greater opportunities.
“You are my children and I will not relent in providing opportunities for you to strive. APGA government will take over the National Assembly.
“I am ready to match anybody strength for strength, money for money,” she added.
In their separate speeches, Chief Richard Udechukwu an industrialist, Nnamdi Ifejika, APGA Chairman, Ogbaru Local Government, Hon Loius Ikpere a former Councilor in Ogbaru, attested that Nwaebili had touched various lives in Ogbaru.
“Because of her, APGA has been growing from strength to strength in Ogbaru and we don’t want any other person,” they said.
