The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has said it is not into any merger talks with the proponents of mega party or the “Third Force”.
In a statement issued yesterday by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Henry Okolie-Aboh, the party said it was assiduously and painstakingly building massive political bridges across the federation ahead of the 2019 general election.

“APGA restates that it is not into merge talk with any political party for the so called “mega party” or “third political force,” because the party with the present political reality in the country and its steady existential political evolvement and growth, is naturally an already circumstantial divinely inspired and created “political third force” that no serious and practising politician can ignore.
APGA said considering the lack lustre performance in governance since the emergence of the present political dispensation, it remains arguably the most credible political platform and best option on ground to emancipate the Nigerian citizenry from the gross political maladministration and economic bondage they were in over the years.
The party maintained that it would fill very qualified and credible candidates for every electoral positions in the forthcoming general elections as well as campaign vigorously across the country.
“Moreover, the party is assiduously and painstakingly building massive political bridges and creating strong structures in every ward of the federation as well as enlisting membership, supporters and followership in every nook and cranny of the country.
“Therefore, other than APGA, Nigerians should stop looking for the imaginary and illusionary political arrangement that will never be there, that even if it is hurriedly put together, would be amorphous; a flippy floppy mishmash and a pot pourri that would not stand the test of time,” it said.
